In The Fire Light: "His favor is for a lifetime; Weeping may last for the night, But a shout of joy comes in the morning." Psalm 30:5
The Lord leads us to Tables He prepares in places we may never expect!
For over five years Dr. Eve has been sharing bread with the needy in her church and neighborhood. At 6am the warehouse manager lines up the trays of breads from different companies where there have been leftovers for various reasons. Dr. Eve worked it out with the owners who are generous to feed the needy rather than throw out the inventory.
Then a year ago Brother Joe came along to help out Dr. Eve. "What a beautiful morning!" Joe always says waking up the sun with a smile just as bright. Dr. Eve and Joe are generous, loving people who help others as a way of life.
In the past 6 months, of all things, the 'Communion Pastor' is now part of the bread militia. Joe and I had shared communion on several mornings after loading up the van to distribute fresh bread. Then in recent weeks Dr. Eve joined us for the early morning CommunionFire. Because Joe was out of town this week my wife Camille happily joined in to help! Like Joe and Eve, Camille has a heart to help others as a lifestyle choice.
So this morning I took this picture with Camille and the Doc on the Dock in the light of CommunionFire!
When we broke bread Dr. Eve saw Jesus lifting a burden she had carried all night long. She said as soon as He did it released a peace that filled every fiber of her being!
Then, while drinking the cup of the everlasting covenant, she said while the juice was going down it released unspeakable joy. It filled her entire being like the peace. She became giddy! Camille caught the joy and both finished this communion overflowing with joy and laughter.
Final Note from Psalm 126:5 "Those who sow in tears shall reap with joyful shouting. She who goes to and fro weeping, carrying her bag of seed, Shall indeed come again with a shout of joy, bringing her sheaves with her."
