I received a "first time call" the other day from "Mrs. O" in New England. We had never met or ever spoken before. She was asking about CommunionFire and for prayer. We shared for a while.
Sensing her faith, I asked "Mrs. O" if she would like to have Communion while we were on the phone and we did. We asked the Lord to bless the bread and then the wine.
During the Communion I encountered the following:
In the bread I saw Jesus standing by an easel like a painter. He was in white robes with colorful sash or belt. In the cup I heard the Him say, "I am painting you!" (I knew that He meant "Mrs. O") So when we were done I prayed for her and then I told her what I saw and what I heard.
In the 'Overflow' (when we share about our experiences in CommunionFire encounters with the Lord) we often get more understanding. Its hard to explain how this works - but it does!
The Lord gave me words and I said, "Jesus wants you to know He is painting His Love and Peace and Healing into you. He is painting your life with His life." The words came out so fast it almost startled me! (Isn't that true? When we let Him JESUS likes to paint our life with His awesomeness!) 2 Corinthians 3:18
Truth stranger than fiction: Sometimes I type up what we share about on the phone and then send a follow-up with a copy of a picture that I think reflects what was encountered. In this case it was the 'portrait on the easel' you see at the top here. It was just a quick cut n' paste of the first 'portrait painting on an easel' I found online under Google images. I hadn't paid much attention to it at the time and I sent this to "Mrs. O".
Later that day I checked back to find a note from "Mrs. O" and I went to her profile and her photo knocked my socks off! She looked just like the lady in the portrait. In fact when she asked her 2 year old granddaughter who the painting was she replied, "Nanna!"
Sometime I think the Lord has a wonder-filled sense of humor that is filled with love, kindness and gentleness that makes His personal attention to detail so special.
Sometimes this CommunionFire is 'so on the nose' you just know the Creator is in charge! JESUS is a great story teller, a great script writer and as it turns out a fine painter! The heavens declare His handiwork - so does the canvas!
Ephesians 2:10, Psalms 19:1, 102:25
