Tonight at the Table of the Lord another delicate miracle took place.
Karen hosts one of the 4 weekly CommunionFire Gatherings in the Grand Strand area of South Carolina. Tonight she was visiting another home gathering. We shared the Body and the Blood around the Table and each shared their experiences. It was another night that brought us back to the Song of Solomon.
Ronnie heard the whisper of the Holy Spirit, (bread) "Beloved - You are all My beloved" followed by (wine) "I assure you, no one comes to the Father but by me."
Another shared that they were directed to read Song 7:9 "down sweetly, causing the lips of those that are asleep to speak." And the roof of your mouth like the best wine for my beloved, that goes
Now Karen shared that while eating the bread she saw big iron nails perhaps like those used during the crucifixion. Then while drinking the wine saw JESUS washing her feet with His blood then was walking in the ocean by the beach and the water was making her clean. In the overflow she noticed the first verse of Song 7. "How beautiful your sandaled feet, O prince's daughter! Your graceful legs are like jewels, the work of an artist's hands." There was more and when the sharing was done something amazing took place.
Karen was asked by Pastor Betty a week ago to pray on the ankle of her husband Scott. He had a nasty spider bite that left his ankle so swollen that he went to the hospital. It was a thick ring of infection like a thick red bracelet around his ankle. Karen prayed. (She had never done this before) That was Friday night. By Sunday morning Scott was showing how quickly the ankle was healing giving praise to the Lord and thanking Karen for praying.
Tonight (Wednesday) Scott did show n' tell again. It was totally healed. All inflamation was gone. No redness. There was only a small bump left and Pastor Betty asked us to pray and so we did. Then I suggested that Karen pick up where she had left off! Karen's eyes were visibly moist and something had happened to her! She said as she approached Scott, "I think I was just speaking in tongues!" A big smile came across her lips and then she prayed quietly for Scott. She went on to share that it was like the Holy Spirit gently said, "Okay are you finished Karen?" She admitted that at that point it was like she heard the heavenly language in the back of her mind and that as long as she prayed in English it was keeping the release of the Holy Spirit. So she surrendered.
Karen had asked JESUS to baptize her in the Holy Spirit a little while back. She had never experienced the confirmation prayer language as she had negative experiences when she was young that scared her. Tonight, JESUS gently held her hand and gave her the grace to pray quietly in a heavenly language. Karen always glows with the presence of the Lord, is a loving servant and always full of compassion. But, there was something special tonight. The waves of the Holy Spirit released rivers of living water through Karen.
Note how the Lord led up to this wonderful event during the CommunionFire. First Ronnie shared what the Lord gave her, "Beloved... You are all my beloved" then Pastor Betty from Song 7:9 "And the roof of your mouth like the best wine for my beloved, that goes down sweetly, causing the lips of those that are asleep to speak." Then Karen related Song 7:1 to her encounter. "How beautiful your sandaled feet, O prince's daughter! Your graceful legs are like jewels, the work of an artist's hands."
As we have said before, "You can't make this stuff up!" All to JESUS we surrender - we surrender ALL!
