Jim Hurley, Graduate of Charis Bible College, has been 'on journey' from New England to California and back again. He was a member at Bethel Church in Redding, California and is continuing his 'healing journey' in Georgia. He is a Christian Poet and loves JESUS. We had our 1st CommunionFire Skype with Jim and feel it was the start to a new direction to taking CommunionFire Global in 2014. Thanks Jim for this breakthrough with us and for an article clearly written in the glow of CommunionFire!
The paradox I am currently trying to get my thoughts {pee brain} around is that we fast to aide us to enter a place of Presence with Christ (already in us and upon us) where we can continually be served and eat from God. Deny to receive. Fast to eat. Jehovah Paradox again. A continual coming to the mount of transfiguration where Jesus turned inside out. :-) . To know even as we are known.
On the mount Jesus communed and transformed. Peter performed and the glory departed. He tells us to eat. To freely receive. Continually. A place where He serves us. Communion Fire. {Commune-ion}. His Love. His Grace. Continually. That He prepares a table for us in the presence of our enemies {this fallen world} and we feast on Him. On earth as it is in heaven. The mount. Jesus walked all the time in a place of the mount, but He continually returned to the mount. To receive. To refresh. Green pastures. A place for sheep to eat. The table. Jesus told His disciples that He had food they know nothing of {to know God is eternal Life}. He is the Bread of Life. We come to him to be shepherded. To be 100% cared for. To be Fathered. Beside still waters. No want. He makes us. He restores us. He leads us. For His names sake. He comforts us. He says to remember to come to Him...so that He can serve us. So that He can serve us. His body...His blood.
Commune-ion.
Eat and drink freely. To allow Him to lay us down...so that we can freely and continually receive. Laid down lovers…in green pastures. Eating the Bread of Life...drinking from the Living Well of Water. Never hungry...never thirsty. That's agape love from above right there!! Unconditional. Always giving. Never failing. To know God’s love...intimately. We can then serve others and love God in return in a constant being of abundant giving love. Agape. Freely receive...freely give. The Circle of Love.
He has prepared a table. Come into Communion.
Feeling quite peculiar today...which is good...the Bible tells me so. :-)
1-3 God, my shepherd! I don’t need a thing. You have bedded me down in lush meadows, you find me quiet pools to drink from. True to your word, you let me catch my breath and send me in the right direction. 4 Even when the way goes through Death Valley, I’m not afraid when you walk at my side. Your trusty shepherd’s crook makes me feel secure. 5 You serve me a six-course dinner right in front of my enemies. You revive my drooping head; my cup brims with blessing. 6 Your beauty and love chase after me every day of my life. I’m back home in the house of God for the rest of my life.

UPDATE: In 24 hours there were over 2500 Hits on Jim's observation of "Commune "ION". This is from the original post.
Think About This: Communion on an Atomic Level: i·on (ī′ŏn′, ī′ən) n. An atom or a group of atoms that has acquired a net electric charge by gaining or losing one or more electrons. [Greek ion, something that goes, neuter present participle of ienai, to go; see ei- in Indo-European roots.]
"COMMUNE-ION" (Communion Fire) Wherever we gather at The Table of JESUS - His presence adds the 'electronic charge' that turns Communion into CommunionFire! (Picture is the effect of Ion charge)
The light of Christ has come into the World! When we see His glory (Doxa = Light of Christ) as in a mirror - we are change into that same image from glory to glory" 2 Cor. 3:18 (See 2 Corinthians 4:4-6; Ephesians 5:14; 1 John 1:7)
