When we shared the bread Kate said,
"While eating the bread I saw flowing water"
Then she said,
"When I drank the wine, I saw manna coming down from the sky like white flakes."
In just a few minutes Kate was experiencing the water of life and the manna of heaven. Some call it the food of angels. Interesting that when eating the bread she saw the water. When drinking the wine she saw the bread!
"Where there is no open vision or revelation the people perish and they cast off all restraint" Proverbs 19:28
"The house of Israel named it manna, and it was like coriander seed, white, and its taste was like wafers with honey." Exodus 16:31
Moses told Israel that this manna was good for one day. It could not be stored. So it is with vision. We need fresh vision each day. You can't tackle today with the vision of yesterday. When we eat the bread of communion we feast on the Lord's life. When we close our eyes He opens our vision to see Him. When we see Him He shares with us. When He does we are filled up with food from heaven that we need for today.
Jesus does not hold back when revealing or sharing His love with us! What He shows us is simple yet profound. What He tells us is plain but filled with power.
Meeting Jesus in CommunionFire is filled with wonder and glory. The Holy Spirit is sent by Jesus to lead us into all truth and to bring to mind all that Jesus wants to show us and tell us.
Whatever your experience is in CommunionFire, share it with others and let the Holy Spirit continue to teach you.
...and in all our experiences He is always loving, gentle and kind.
