Today's Encounter: this morning in our home: Eating the bread, His Body, I heard "My Body is perfect." three times and then I saw a simple but elegant crown. Then drinking the wine, His Blood, I heard the anthem, "Crown Him, Crown Him, Crown Him Lord of all."
It made me think of 'I am coming quickly; hold fast what you have, so that no one will take your crown.' Revelation 3:11 We hold fast to the perfection of His Body so that no one can take our crown.
"Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever" 1 Corinthians 9:25

Psalm 46:10
“Be still, and know that I am God;
raphah yada Elohim
“Be Still” = Raphah (harpu)/Rapha: Cease (striving). Go Limp, fail, relax, fainted, end of self (done with my own strength) – as if prepared to be operated upon so that God can make you whole, healed, healthy (putting yourself in God’s hands completely) to become restored, to become fully who He intended all along – as if to receive all He has for you without resistance.
Its as though you become a pen in His hand and He writes His story through you. (the pen cannot write, the hand that holds the pen does the writing) He is “The author and finisher of your faith”. He gives you faith and He develops your faith until it is complete and polished to a luster, it shines!
There are scores of derivative words (branches/stems/leaves/fruit) that bloom from the primary root words “Raphah/Rapha” but there is only one derivative for Psalm 46:10 “Harpu” and it means “cease” as if you are trying, striving to do faith by yourself in your own strength. Stop! It is as if the Lord wants us to ‘cease what we are doing' to see something very clearly. It requires that you must cease everything else to see it and appreciate it. Cease from our activities so that we might ‘know’ something from Him, about Him… Him!
“Know” = Yada: (has almost 100 derivatives) A primitive root; to know (properly, to ascertain by seeing) make known, know intimately, reveal, revelation, (manifest), observation, recognition, (eyes opened, to see and then recognize), have understanding, instruction, discover, experience.
'Yada' combined with 'raphah/harpu' its being still, ceasing from our own comprehensions and abilities that we defer to God to reveal Himself to us. “Stop, look... listen” is the attitude for experiencing Communion. Cease from self when you sit down with Him. Feast on His presence and He will take the initiative to reveal what He wants you to see and hear. When He does your heart will begin to pound with His ability to commune with you. He brings tender understanding in our hearts. We get to know Him personally and intimately. This is when the miracle of conversion to His design for you continues. It is healing and wholeness that comes from Him. He is so wonderful and His love so real that somehow we become a little bit more like Him. A few seconds with Him and our lives are never the same. (2 Corinthians 3:18)
God: Elohim (plural of Elowahh): Plurality, (The Trinity) of The Great God, Supreme God, The Judge, Mighty God, The Almighty God, the angels
"And of his fullness we have all received, grace for grace." John 1:16 When we encounter JESUS we encounter the Father and the Holy Spirit as well. We experience His nature and character and we continue to develop our personal relationship with Him. Abba, Jesus and the Holt Spirit are all a part of CommunionFire. It is the union in communion that Jesus prayed for in John 17.
Psalm 46:10 We sit down to His Table with nothing in our hands, no expectations, just a sense of awe. We come not to give but to receive. Like customers in a restaurant or being seated at a feast, we are waited upon. We wait for Him and He comes to us. He comes to serve and to share. He has prepared to share His life and love with us for all eternity. He is always waiting for us so that He can wait upon us. When you eat the bread and drink the wine, be still and know...
