My wife recently started singing this as a memory from her childhood. It brought to mind good thoughts about the Eucharist and her first Holy Communion.
I took the liberty of adapting the lyrics to reflect what is happening in our Eucharistic experiences from the light of CommunionFire.

Take Our Bread, We Ask You
Words by Joseph Wise
Take our bread, we ask you,
Take our hearts, we love you,
Take our lives, oh Father,
We are yours, we are yours.
Yours as we stand at the table you set,
Yours as we eat the bread our hearts can't forget.
We are the signs of your life with us yet;
We are yours, we are yours.
Take our bread, we ask you,
Take our hearts, we love you,
Take our lives, oh Father,
We are yours, we are yours.
Your holy people stand washed in your blood,
Spirit-filled, yet hungry, we await your food.
Poor though we are, we have brought
Ourselves to you:
We are yours, we are yours.
Take our bread, we ask you,
Take our hearts, we love you,
Take our lives, oh Father,
We are yours, we are yours.

Bless This Bread, We Ask You
Words by the Communion Pastor
You have led us to the Table
Fill us Lord, you are able
We come with new hunger
Fill our hearts, Fill our hearts
We now sit at the Table you have set,
We sense your love and our hearts can't forget.
You open our eyes and paid all our debt;
We give thanks, We give thanks.
Bless this bread, We ask you,
We are fed, We love you,
You give life, Lord Jesus,
We are yours, We are yours.
Those in your presence are made clean by your blood,
Spirit filled, yet hungry, you give us what is good.
You remove our guilt and shame by the mercy flood:
We are filled, we are filled.
Bless this wine, We ask you,
We are filled, We love you,
Lead our lives, Holy Spirit
We are yours, we are yours.
We are yours, we are yours.
