In The Fire Light: RESURRECTION "And his appearance was
like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow." Matthew 28:3
"That which was from the beginning, which we have heard,
which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at
and our hands have touched--this we proclaim concerning
the Word of life." 1 John 1:1.
HIS EVIDENCE and SUBSTANCE The more time we spend sharing
CommunionFire the more our life reflects the real substance of Jesus life
inside us from the Communion.
So is the bread, His Body, the miracle? Is the cup we use more 'blessed'
because we use it each day to drink the wine? Is the wine, His Blood, miraculous?
We leave that to your faith. We consider the Communion to be God's design
to let us know that what happens in Communion is as real as the food and cup we touch.
By 'Doing This' we follow The Holy Spirit into "The Remembrance" as we touch
the elements of Communion. Jesus didn't leave us an autographed picture or say
'remember me by my sandals'. He said He would send the Holy Spirit to 'bring all things
to our remembrance of all that Jesus said and to show us things to come'.
"Faith is the evidence of things not seen, things invisible, things
you can't see with the natural eyesight. It is also the substance is tangible,
has weight and dimension, as food: can taste of things hoped for."
Some point out that it is a "Now Faith". That is what happens in Communion.
Our faith is transformed by His faithfulness. We literally grow from faith to faith
as we are changed from glory to glory.
JESUS IS TANGIBLE We hold in our hands that which He gave us at
the First Table of the Last Supper. It is still the same Table today. Jesus gave
us something tangible so that He could bring us into the intangible.
He gave us (John 6) "Real Food" - His Body and Blood as the Bread and the Wine.
When we come to His Table these elements pull back the curtain of this life to
reveal Jesus in the power of His Resurrection.
You can see it in the faces of those who gathered in the photo.
The delight comes from being in the light of his presence when
receiving Communion. "Arise shine for your light has come
and the glory of the Lord is seen upon you!" Isaiah 60:1
