In The Fire Light: And he said to them, “Therefore every scribe who has been trained for the kingdom of heaven is like a master of a house, who brings out of his treasure what is new and what is old.” Matthew 13:52
Many of us journal or 'scribe' our encounters with the Lord JESUS in CommunionFire experiences. It becomes a continual resource (more valuable than a home) and a treasure we bring out and share with others. Why do we do this? Because here we encounter the heartbeat of the Lord and we want to document it. We become witnesses to the testimony of Jesus.
Those who have a journal of 'encounters they have had with the Lord', fill the treasury with what has been discovered, uncovered, revealed from their encounters. The Phos and (Graphe, Logos) Rhema in the "Doxa Encounter" with JESUS is in the CommunionFire experience. What are these words? Here's a quick word study from the Greek.
The Phos = The Light of Jesus Christ, the light from heaven that knocked Saul off of his horse on the road to Damascus. "He is the Light of the World. "properly, light (especially in terms of its results, what it manifests); in the NT, the manifestation of God's self-existent life; divine illumination to reveal and impart life, through Christ."
"For God who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of God's glory in the face of Jesus Christ." 2 Corinthians 4:6 http://bibleapps.com/greek/5457.htm
The Graphe = the paper and ink Scriptures; the Bible
"You pore over the Scriptures because you think you have eternal life in them, yet they testify about Me." John 5:39
The Logos = The Word made flesh - JESUS
The Word became flesh and lived among us. We gazed on his glory, the kind of glory that belongs to the Father's unique Son, who is full of grace and truth. John 1:14
The Rhema = Graphe-based, Word spoken, the breathed Logos is the Lord speaking His dynamic, living word in a believer http://bibleapps.com/greek/4487.htm
"Simon Peter answered Him, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have words of eternal life." John 6:68 and "It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God." Matthew 4:4, Luke 4:4
The Doxa = Honour, the unspoken manifestation of God, splendor; God's infinite, intrinsic worth (substance, essence) epiphany
"We all, with unveiled faces, are looking as in a mirror at the glory of the Lord and are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory; this is from the Lord who is the Spirit." 2Corinthians 3:18
In CommunionFire (The Doxa) we have the bread but not the bread alone. We also have the cup and the wine. The broken Bread is the 'partition' of the torn body of JESUS that opens the way into His presence (Phos). We encounter JESUS as we are feasting on the bread. We see Him and understand exactly what He is showing us (Doxa). In effect the bread has a story, parable, testimony to tell us. It is like God scripted what we see (Phos) just for us, as we are, in that moment.
Now with the wine we drink in His love, grace and forgiveness. And while our body is processing it the Rhema comes. The voice of the Lord by the Holy Spirit speaks! Whatever is conveyed is filled with His majestic power.
The blood speaks. "Jesus, the mediator of a better covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better message than Abel's." Hebrews 12:24 and "What have you done? The voice of your brother's blood cries to me from the ground." Genesis 4:10
Example: TRUE COMMUNIONFIRE STORY FROM YESTERDAY MORNING!
So awhile eating the bread this morning I saw JESUS the Savior standing behind snow-covered mountains and church in a valley below the mountains. It was like He was saying "Come to me." While drinking from the cup, I saw one side of JESUS the King in the clouds, shoulders up (His right side) and the rest of Him hidden by the clouds. The Holy Spirit spoke, "He is coming back in the clouds with power and great glory!" Matthew 24:30, Luke 21:27
At the exact same time, while eating the bread my wife saw JESUS the Savior in the snow standing in front of her with His hands reaching toward her as if to say "Come to me." Camille responded internally, "But Lord I have no shoes and the snow is cold." Then when drinking the wine she immediately saw the snow pull back to create a fresh green grass path to JESUS the Good Shepherd!
Overflow: Are you kidding me? Really? We live in South Carolina - the last weather we think of is snow much less both of us at the same time. Its "So on the nose." (This happens more often than you might think.) Jesus Our Savior was there in the snow in both encounters with arms open in white raiment saying, "Come to Me." Then the Holy Spirit shows Him Coming Back for Us in the clouds with power and great glory as King of kings and Makes a Way for Us to come to Him now by creating a path of green grass through the snow. He meets us where we are, as we are flooding our hearts with His love, hope, kindness and joy (Doxa)!
Have a blessed day and pray about having Communion daily. Look for JESUS in the breaking of the bread and listen for His still small voice when His blood speaks of better things as you drink from the cup of His New Covenant.
