Prayers lifted Lord that this book succeeds and helps those who You need reaching too." The manuscripts are being sent out next week. Please pray with me.....because I've surrendered all into the Lords hands and that His wil be done. I love you all!!!!! Thank you for the prayers. This is soooo important to me. Thank YOU!
Off the Beaten Path.....
A mothers need for understanding: I didn't raise them to be like this, they are going down the wrong path, why are they doing these things, this isn't how they were taught or raised. Mothers are left with feelings of sadness, loneliness, hurt, hands tied, defeat, hopelessness, left unable to help, protect, guide, direct. No longer heard.
Several years ago I bought a yucca root from one of those order catalogs. I planted it and when summer was coming to a close, not even a sprout had surfaced. The following spring I returned to where I had planted the root, still no sign of life from the yucca plant. Several years had passed. Finally this yucca plant emerged, and grew with one flowering stem. Today this plant takes its special place in the garden with it's beauty and grace. The plant has grown so large now, that it's time to dig it up, divide, and now to share with others.
It is difficult at times to try and understand life decisions and choices our children and loved ones make. Through many seasons of sowing good seed, we look for a yucca plant the same year we plant.
In Luke 15:11-32 a father experienced this with his son. He did not stop his son from walking in a will of his own. Yet, this father remained watching and waiting patiently. He held onto his hope.
Paul shares with us “… because I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him for that day.” 2Tim 1:12 Paul was saying that he had learned by experience that he could trust God. Paul was convinced that God was able to keep, guard, and protect everything that he was willing to put in God’s care.
Your child is not beyond the Lords reach. “If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my beds in the depths, you are there.” Psalm.139:8 Rom 8:38 reminds us...that NOTHING will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. ****v38 includes the present or the future.
God loved us while we were still in our sin. Romans 5:8 If your child is still in sin, God still loves them and is working in their life. “The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise. He is patient with us, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” 2Peter 3:9 Because our children are Gods children too, God understands ones pain and longing. He too waits for His children to come home.
As with the prodigal son who came home with a repentant heart, watch and wait patiently for your seeds of love to bloom. Ecclesiastes 3:11a Whisper: He has made everything beautiful in its time.
The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; He delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the broken hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:17,18
Please, remember GODs reach HAS NO LIMITS NOTHING, NOTHING, NOTHING will separate one from the love of God! Neither height nor DEPTH, “nor pit... nor your drug habit, nor your brokenness, nor your depression, nor your troubles how big” NOTHING, NOTHING, NOTHING. God says it....YOU BELIEVE it.
Whisper: God can heal that emptiness with Himself. YSisterIC, Brown Eagle
PS From the Communion Pastor: "By the way dear Brown Eagle - we are teaching CommunionFire and speak of drinking the cup we listen for the "whisper" of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Brown Eagle for teaching us that. FYI One of those involved in writing songs about CommunionFire just finished one called "Whisper" We will post it soon on our blog and will let you know when we do. It is a beautiful song."
